A man from Delhi allegedly hit nine people and six bikes with a car in Nainital, before crashing into the sidewall.
A 38-year-old man from Delhi allegedly hit nine people in Nanital, before crashing his car into a sidewall yesterday. Along with hitting around nine people, he also hit six parked bikes, police said. The accused was later reportedly caught by angry local residents and handed over to police.
As per the report by the Hindustan Times (HT), the medical examination of the man later confirmed that he was drunk, a police officer said. The man, who has been identified as Amit Bahugana, 38, a resident of Delhi, was drunk while he was driving.
