KGF Chapter 2 actor Yash reveals if he will ever remake Amitabh Bachchan's films. He also said the essence of his character Rocky in KGF is inspired by Big B's 'heroism'.

After a long wait, KGF Chapter 2 will finally see the light of the day on April 14, 2022. Yash returns as the savage Rocky Bhai and it explains why theatre owners are reporting sold-out shows, already! For the unaware, Yash’s character in KGF: Chapter 2 is partially inspired from Amitabh Bachchan’s mannerisms from his classics. But will Yash ever remake an Amitabh Bachchan film in the future? The KGF actor had an apt reply.

Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 will release on April 14. Ahead of the film’s release, Yash shared if he would ever want to remake an Amitabh Bachchan film. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the Kannada superstar replied, “Remake pasand nahi hain personally and again, Amit ji ka, don’t touch that thing. Classics, jo unka kaam hain kis mindset pe could have come, don’t think I would do anything.”

Remember Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘angry young man’ avatar in his classic films like Shahenshah, Agneepath, Don, Deewaar? It earlier came about that Yash’s character as Rocky in KGF was inspired by Amitabh Bachchan. Is this true? The actor shared, “Essence, belief system, heroism, hero-worship” was inspired by Amitabh Bachchan but Yash says it has “nothing to do with any film.” Yash further added, “But in general, the kind of films he used to make, the essence is same. What whole of India wants to see, at least whoever I meet, say they love those kind of films.”

KGF: Chapter 2 releases nationwide on April 14, 2022. The film will be made available to the audience in five languages - Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. KGF has been written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur under the Hombale Films banner. KGF is being presented in North-Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films.
