Don't post seemingly racist stuff: Vinod Khosla's advice to Elon Musk amid feud
India Today
Indian-American billionaire Vinod Khosla and Tesla boss Elon Musk have been engaged in an on-and-off online feud for months. In the latest clash, Khosla accused Musk of being a racist and trying to promote Waga – white America great again. Musk dismissed it by citing his partner, Shivon Zills's Indian heritage.
It seems the spat between tech billionaires Vinod Khosla and Elon Musk is not ending anytime soon. After the SpaceX CEO cited his partner Shivon Zills's Indian heritage amid a feud over racism allegations, the Indian-American tech investor hit back, asking Musk not to try tweeting "seemingly" racist things next time.
"Instead of bringing your family into it, maybe try not tweeting 'SEEMINGLY' racist stuff next time? Many would appreciate it if you acknowledge you are not trying to establish a white society in America, and are not WAGA, and racism isn't behind your many laments around white birth rates, declining % of population and many similar laments," Khosla, the co-founder of Sun Microsystems, wrote on the micro-blogging site.
The online feud between the two began after Khosla accused Musk of trying to normalise racism via Waga – White America Great Again. But the Tesla boss quickly responded by saying that his partner, Shivon Zills, is half Indian, and their son has been named after Indian-American physicist and Nobel laureate Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar. Musk also mentioned the ongoing Martins Beach legal battle between California and Khosla. Shivon Zills's mother is Indian of Punjabi descent, while her father is Canadian.
"Vinod, you’re not just such a pompous asshole that you tried to stop the public from using a public beach near your house, you’ve also gone full retard. My partner, Shivon, is half Indian and my eldest son with her is named in honour of the great Indian physicist Chandrasekhar," the Tesla and SpaceX boss tweeted.
In his latest counter, the Indian-American investor said Musk should appreciate him standing up to the rule of protecting private property instead of caving in to the state.
"As to the beach issue, you'd appreciate me standing up to the principle of defending 'the principal of private property' instead of giving in to whatever the Coastal Commission wants. EVERY court ruling (in Friends of Martin Beach case including all appeals) so far reaffirms there has NEVER been free access to the beach thru private property, just paid access for parking, though the beach is public property (I’ve never asserted it isn’t). You would appreciate it if you knew the facts. Anything else is communism. Separately, courts have denied my petition to have the right to close the gate because the CCC has not denied me the right to close the gate and wont give me a hearing for years because then they would have to deny my petition and I would have legal recourse. So they just wont give me a hearing date. Unfortunately, I have no proof to refute your claim that I am a pompous asshole and retarded. I have said publicly I do admire your extraordinary entrepreneurial skills," Vinod Khosla tweeted.

The profiles of at least three of China's leading nuclear, missile and radar experts were scrubbed from the website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the country's most prestigious academic body. This comes as a series of purges under Premier Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign have decimated the upper echelons of China's military and scientific community.

The aircraft had also been used by senior Iranian officials and military figures for both domestic and international travel, and for coordinating with allied countries, the Israeli military said. Meanwhile, Dubai International Airport has resumed flight operations after a temporary suspension of about seven hours caused by a drone strike near a fuel tank facility.
