In the eagerness to upgrade their systems to the latest version of Windows, people are falling for online phishing scams that pose as Windows 11 installers but are instead tools for spreading malware, adware and other malicious programs.
Since Microsoft previewed Windows 11 at its event last month, people have been waiting anxiously to upgrade their systems to the latest version of the operating system. Even though the official rollout of Windows 11 to PCs is yet to begin, some are resorting to unsuitable means in this anticipation, in order to gain early access to it. Threat actors are now taking advantage of this online rush. New malicious programs are being circulated online under the pretext of being “Windows 11 installers.” These programs promise to upgrade a system to the latest Windows version free of cost, though their real purpose is far more notorious.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
