T20 World Cup 2021: Suresh Raina said India need to get behind Virat Kohli and win the prestigious title to give a perfect send-off to their captain, who will step down from his role after the tournament in the UAE.
Former India batsman Suresh Raina urged India to win the T20 World Cup and help Virat Kohli end his T20 captaincy career on a high. Raina said India and Kohli should have the belief that they can do special things at the big stage in the UAE.
Virat Kohli said last month that he will be stepping down as India's T20I captain after the World Cup, which got underway in Oman on October 17. Notably, Kohli ended his reign as Royal Challengers Bangalore's captain without an Indian Premier League title as his team was knocked out in the eliminator earlier this month.
