Director Siddharth Anand opens up about SRK-starrer Pathaan, says 'I'm living and breathing the film'

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Pathaan will release next year. Director Siddharth Anand has now opened up on the film.

Shah Rukh Khan is all set to make his comeback to films after four years with Pathaan. Ever since the film has been announced, fans have been waiting in anticipation for new updates. In Pathaan, our favourite superstar SRK will be seen flaunting his chiselled physique and acting prowess alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film will release in January 2023. Siddharth recently opened up about the journey of shooting this film, the audience's response and more.

Talking to Etimes, director Siddharth Anand revealed that this year is a very special birthday for him as he is working on one of the most special films of his career. He said, “I’m living and breathing Pathaan every moment of my life and I want to give audiences an experience that is spectacular and like no other.”

Siddharth revealed that he is thrilled with the unanimously positive response to every asset of the film that they have launched so far. He said, “Starting with the announcement video, to Shah Rukh Khan’s first look in the film, to us unveiling a glimpse of Deepika Padukone. We are fortunate that everything has been loved by audiences. What the audience thinks and feels is of utmost importance to us all, and we are happy that Pathaan has started off on such a strong note with them.”

Pathaan will hit big screens on January 25, 2023. Besides Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The multi-starrer film is directed by Siddharth Anand. The film is said to be a high-octane action film. Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance in the film.

2023 is going to be the year packed with Shah Rukh Khan's three movie releases. As far as Pathaan is concerned, the film has been scheduled to hit the big screen on January 25, 2023. Post Pathaan, SRK will be seen sharing screen space with Nayanthara in director Atlee's movie, Jawan. The film is set for release on the silver screen on June 2, 2023. Coming to his next movie, Shah Rukh Khan will be seen alongside Taapsee Pannu in Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will release in cinemas on December 22, 2023.

With three big movies lined up in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan is sure to entertain his fans in more ways than one. The superstar is also likely to make a cameo appearance in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna, the film releases on September 9, 2022.
