
Deputy CM unveils foundation for new projects

Tamil Nadu Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin unveils new projects worth ₹15.61 crore in Chepauk-Tiruvallikeni constituency.
Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Friday unveiled the foundation stone for new projects that are set to be implemented at a cost of ₹15.61 crore in his Chepauk-Tiruvallikeni Assembly constituency.
The new projects include the construction of a multi-purpose centre on Pycrofts Road in Royapettah, two Mudhalvar Padaippagams and library one each on Jani Basha Street and on Bharathi Road, an official release said.
During the event, the Deputy CM also inaugurated new quarters constructed by the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department in Chepauk at a total cost of ₹5.87 crore.
Ministers P.K. Sekarbabu; Chennai Mayor R. Priya; Central Chennai MP Dayanidhi Maran and senior officials were present on the occasion.
