More than two decades after their iconic on-screen love story, Dennis Quaid is paying tribute to his "The Parent Trap" costar Natasha Richardson.
In a March 10 interview on the "Out of Order" podcast, Quaid got emotional while talking about Richardson, who died in 2009 at age 45 after a skiing accident.
"My heart breaks every time," Quaid said after watching a clip of the pair in the 1998 film. In it, they played divorced parents Nick Parker and Elizabeth James brought back together by their identical twin daughters, both played by Lindsay Lohan.
"Natasha, she was just an incredible person," Quaid continued. "If there's anybody I'd ever want to work with again, it'd be her. She was just, you know, she was a great person besides being an amazing actor to work with."
