India Today
Final year Delhi University students are demanding their classes be conducted in hybrid mode as the university is nearing reopening.
A section of outstation students, particularly final year students, are demanding classes to be held in a hybrid format as the varsity is set to resume its offline classes from tomorrow, February 17.
Some colleges at the university are planning to hold classes in hybrid mode for their first-year students, whereas second and third-year students have to attend offline classes.
This move has become a reason of distress for students outside the state as they are scrambling to make travel and accommodation arrangements.
Some of these students have said that there is no point in making accommodation arrangements for a couple of months as exams are approaching.
Outstation Delhi University final-year undergrad and postgrad students have started an online petition asking that they not be called back for only two months.
The petition which has been addressed to the vice-chancellor, registrar, proctor, and the dean of students welfare, the petition has already gained over 40,000 signatories.
The petition started by Kalyani AP reads, "Several outstation students are worried about travelling to Delhi. But our voices are drowning amid all the excitement. There are several graduate and post-graduate students like me who are in the final year of their studies at DU."

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
