Delhi weather update: City to witness cloudy skies, light showers today

As per the prediction by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cloudy skies and light showers are likely in Delhi on Friday.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Delhi is likely to witness a generally cloudy sky with light rain on Friday. According to the weather department, the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 40 degrees Celsius.
On Thursday, the minimum temperature at the Safdarjung Observatory, Delhi’s primary weather station, was recorded at 29.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal.
The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for the national capital, predicting rain or thundershowers for the next few days. Check Delhi's latest weather forecast.
The air quality in Delhi remained in the 'Satisfactory' category on Friday, with the air quality index (AQI) being recorded at 86.
