Delhi University has postponed the final year exams for UG and PG students amid rising Covid-19 cases.
Attention students, Delhi University has postponed the upcoming final year exams for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students. Amid the Covid-19 surge, the university has decided to postpone the final year exams to June 1. DU had earlier scheduled the final year exams to begin in May. Now, the university will commence the examination after June 1. D.S. Rawat, DU’s Dean of Examination told The Hindu, “A meeting was held on Saturday with all the heads of departments and Deans. The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor and it was decided that the examinations for the final-year students will be postponed to June 1. A notification regarding the same will be issued on Monday.” Further, the officials have added that the examination will be held in online mode, just like last year. Delhi University will soon make the decision regarding other batches.
