Delhi University has decided to implement the National Education Policy from the next academic year, which has prompted a strike from the varsity teachers' body.
Delhi University has taken the decision to implement the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) from the next academic year. This has prompted the varsity teachers' body to call a strike on Tuesday. On Monday, the Standing Committee on Academic Matters approved the implementation of the policy from 2022-23, the four-year undergraduate programmed and the multiple entries and exit options for students during the meeting. However, the committee differed in the discussion on the implementation of the Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). DU has formed a 42 high-powered member committee to look into the implementation of the National Education Policy. The community has recommended continuing with the three-year undergraduate programme but assimilating it into the structure of a four-year degree program. Further, the committee has also recommended implementing both one-year and two-year postgraduate programmes.
Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
