Delhi reports 946 Covid-19 cases, positivity rate dips to 1.25%

The number of new cases remained under the 1,000-mark for the second consecutive day as the government gets ready to gradually lift lockdown restrictions.

Delhi on Sunday reported 946 new Covid-19 cases, the second day in a row when daily caseloads dropped below the 1,000-mark. The number of deaths due to Covid was reported to be 78, the lowest since 13 April. Recoveries stood at 1,803. In the last 24 hours, 75,440 Covid tests were conducted in the city. Covid positivity rate also remained low at 1.25 per cent. As of May 30, there are 12,100 active cases in Delhi.
