
Delhi Police arrests man for impersonating as magistrate

The Delhi Police arrested a man for impersonating a magistrate. The police recovered a pistol with live cartridges as well as several fake identities from the possession of the accused.
A 35-year-old man was arrested for impersonating a magistrate and trying to intimidate the police officials after his car was stopped for traffic violation at Rani Jhansi Road in Delhi on Saturday.
According to the police, at around 7:300 pm on Saturday, officials were checking for traffic violations at Rani Jhansi Road when they spotted a blue Renault car coming from the wrong side. Police said the car driver also used a red beacon on top of his vehicle, in contravention of a 2017 ban.

The arrest of 7 foreign nationals by the NIA has prompted experts to suggest that the incidents might be connected.
