Delhi government asks CBSE for more time to compile Class 10 board exam results

The Delhi Government has written to CBSE regarding the Class 10 board exam results timeline, asking it to review it as many teachers are busy with Covid-19 duties. Further, 76 schools have been designated as Covid-19 vaccination centers.
Amid the Covid-19 surge and the vaccination drive, the Delhi Government has written a letter to CBSE asking it to review its timeline regarding the compiling of Class 10 board exam results as many teachers are involved in the Covid-19 duties and schools are being used as vaccination centers. Further, the letter states that due to the rising Covid-19 cases, the national capital is in lockdown till May 10. "Keeping in view the ongoing situation, including its emotional ramifications, enforcement of lockdown and deployment of teachers for various duties, the competent authority of CBSE is requested to kindly review the Time Schedule... regarding Policy for Tabulation of Marks for Class X Board Exams 2021," the Delhi government said, as reported by PTI. "Further, to assist the district administration, most of the teachers and other staff, including data entry operators and IT assistants of Delhi Government schools, are at the forefront of Covid19 related duties," it added.More Related News
