
Delhi girl 'sold' in Agra for Rs 60,000, rescued from Rajasthan; 2 arrested

A minor girl who was sold off to a resident of Sikar in exchange for Rs 60,000 has been rescued by the Delhi Police. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case.
Delhi Police rescued a 15-year-old girl from Rajasthan who was taken to Agra and sold for Rs 60,000. A case has been registered and two persons have been arrested.
The girl was rescued from the home of one Gopal Lal in Rajasthan's Sikar. Gopal Lal reportedly wanted to marry off the minor girl to his brother-in-law Daanvir, also a resident of Sikar.
