
Delhi: CBI arrests sub-inspector in bribery case, recovers over Rs 1 crore cash

The CBI arrested a sub-inspector in a bribery case in New Delhi. The cop was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
The Central Bureau of Investigation has recovered Rs 1.12 crore in cash from the car and residence of a Delhi Police sub-inspector who was caught on Wednesday by officials while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000.
Sub-Inspector Bhojraj Singh posted at Delhi’s Maidan Garhi Police Station was caught by the CBI while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a complainant.
