He explained how he took his two wickets against Punjab, stating that Pant had to be credited for at least one of his wickets. He revealed that Pant had been constantly asking him to come and bowl around the wicket, something he wasn’t interested in. However, he chose to listen to his captain, which got him the wicket of Australian Nathan Ellis, when he bowled him through the gate.
Kuldeep stated that against Kagiso Rabada the plan was much simpler since he knew that the South African was not going to take a big stride.
“He seldom brings his foot forward and that ‘s why the wrong’un is very effective against him,” the bowler added.The wrist spinner credited Pant for his turnaround in form, revealing that the Delhi captain backs his bowlers till the end and does not get frustrated if they are going for a few runs.
“I have been given a lot of confidence in this IPL and I am very clear mentally as to how the batter will react to me,” Kuldeep said.
“I am really enjoying my bowling after a long time and the credit behind the wickets goes to Rishabh for the way he backs his spinners,” Yadav talked about Pant.
