A heartwarming video showing a mother's energetic cheer for her daughter during a convocation ceremony in Canada has gone viral.
A moment of pure joy and desi energy stole the spotlight at a Canadian convocation ceremony. The star of the video wasn’t just the graduate in her cap and gown, it was her mother’s exuberant cheer that had everyone smiling.
The clip, shared on Instagram by Gursehaj Kaur, shows her walking across the stage during her convocation, dressed in the traditional black gown and mortarboard. As she posed with a professor, a voice rang out from the audience: her mother enthusiastically calling out, “I love you!” in her distinctive Punjabi accent.
Kaur’s mother also encouraged her to dance after receiving the degree.
The cheer, full of warmth and pride, drew laughter from the crowd and instantly became the highlight of the ceremony.
