
Crooks, traitors falling in a trap: Pak PM Imran Khan’s message ahead of no-trust vote

Faced with a no-confidence motion and revolt from within his own party, Pakistan PM Imran Khan has hinted that those conspiring against him would meet their downfall soon.
With a no-confidence vote impending, Pakistan’s embattled Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday asked his supporters to have faith and not be concerned about “tricks and cheaters”.
Quoting a verse by famed Persian poet Shams Tabrizi, Imran Khan gave a subtle message that those conspiring against him would meet their downfall soon.
“Message to my workers and supporters: The crooks and traitors of our country are falling in a trap,” he tweeted.

Imran Khan is currently struggling to save his government, after two opposition parties moved a no-trust vote in the country’s parliament and a revolt brewing within his own ruling coalition.
