With the country battling the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hero MotoCorp has decided to further extend the shutdown at its manufacturing plants across India as well as Global Parts Centre in Neemrana and R&D facility (Centre of Innovation and Technology) in Jaipur, by a week till May 16, 2021. Earlier this month, Hero MotoCorp had announced that all its facilities will remain closed till May 9, 2021. The two-wheeler manufacturer had also halted the plant operations temporarily in a staggered manner for four days from April 22, 2021, till May 1, 2021.
