A retired nurse at the Government Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram lost her husband to COVID-19. Her son too tested positive and had to enter isolation. Caught between grief for her husband and worry for her son, she went through a harrowing time. There was no family or friend to hold on to amid the pandemic. As reassurance and support were what she needed most, Anilkumar T.V., professor of psychiatry at the hospital, communicated with her over the phone regularly.More Related News
