Cop in Andhra Pradesh thrashes biker, faces inquiry | Watch

A sub-inspector assaulted a man in public in the Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh. The inspector has been served a show-cause notice.
One police inspector thrashed a motorcyclist in Andhra Pradesh's Nellore district when he allegedly refused to pay the fine demanded by the cop on Saturday.
The Sub-inspector (SI) Venkataramana, popularly called Gabbar Singh, now faces an inquiry and has been served a show cause notice.
The cop had caught the biker reportedly without a mask, helmet and driving licence in the village of Marripadu Mandal in Nellore. When the man refused to pay the fine, the inspector then allegedly thrashed him publicly.
After the video of the incident went viral, Superintendent of Police (SP), Vijaya Rao, sought a report from the DSP of Marripadu Mandal. The SI was summoned by the SP after the incident.
