Congress to hold two-day state conclave from June 1
India Today
The Congress party is all set to hold a two-day state conclave from June 1 across the country.
Congress general secretaries and other in-charges will hold a two-day state conclave from June 1 across the country.
This is a follow-up to Udaipur’s three-day Chintan Shivir which concluded last Sunday.
The brainstorming session focused on the time-bound restructuring of the Congress, finding ways to combat the politics of polarisation, and getting battle-ready for upcoming electoral challenges.
A sign of what is in the store was given by Rahul Gandhi in his address at the Nav Sankalp Shivir when he mentioned “transforming the nature of Congress party. Not the nature in terms of its thinking, not the nature in terms of its ideology but its nature of the way we do our work.”
And the “to do” list approved by the Congress Working Committee (CWC) fleshed out the detailed strategy as to how the party plans to “transform the nature of the way it will function in future.”
On 1st and 2nd June , there will be a state level Shivir in all states across India, in which all the highlight points and the way forward taken from the Udaipur Declaration will be communicated to the leaders and grassroot workers.: Shri @rssurjewala pic.twitter.com/58iD3cEWGo
