Activists of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) threw black ink at Union minister Sanjeev Balyan's vehicle as a mark of protest against rising inflation.
Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan was heckled by Congress activists in Odisha's Puri over skyrocketing prices of petrol, diesel and other essential commodities. The BJP minister's convoy was passing through Market Square when activists of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) threw black ink at his vehicle.
Talking to India Today, NSUI Odisha President Yashir Nawaz said every single household is affected by inflation and the price rise of essential commodities including LPG cylinders.
"Income has been stagnant while expenses of running a family are on the rise continuously. BJP is trying to distract the common man through other non-relevant issues," he said.
