Congress accuses BJP's Tejasvi Surya of profiteering with Covid vaccines, demands arrest

The Congress has accused Tejasvi Surya and his uncle of profiteering with Covid-19 vaccination by "taking commission" from a private hospital in Bengaluru in exchange for asking people to vaccinate there.

The Congress party on Saturday accused Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Tejasvi Surya of profiteering with Covid-19 vaccines in the midst of the pandemic. The Congress has alleged that Tejasvi Surya and his uncle Ravi Subramanya, a three-time BJP MLA, have been asking people in Bengaluru to get vaccinated at a particular private hospital. Referring to a "leaked audio", the Congress has alleged that Ravi Subramanya is getting a handsome share of the amount charged for vaccination by this hospital.
