Delhi University has started a new initiative called 'Coffee with Vice-Chancellor', aimed at giving students a chance to interact directly with the university administration.
The programme is designed to provide an open platform for students to share their ideas, concerns, and suggestions with the top leadership.
In the first session held on Monday evening, Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh met with ten students from Miranda House. The discussion covered emerging technologies, education, and the role students can play in shaping India’s future.
Singh encouraged students to think about how they can use new tools, particularly Artificial Intelligence, to their advantage.
Responding to a student’s question on AI, Singh said, "Make AI your assistant, not your master."
He highlighted that while new technologies can raise concerns, they also offer great opportunities for empowerment.
