Under the CLAP initiative, 4,097 garbage collecting vehicles would be deployed in 13 districts of the state. Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy formally launched the programme by flagging off 2,600 vehicles.
Clean Andhra Pradesh (CLAP), an initiative of the Andhra Pradesh government to make the state clean with public participation, was launched by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi's 152nd birth anniversary on Saturday.
