All the educational institutes in Himachal Pradesh will remain closed till May 1 due to the spike of Covid-19 cases across the state in the past few days.
The government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to keep all the educational institutes, including schools and colleges, in the state closed till May 1 in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases in the past several days, as per an official statement. Earlier, the government had decided to keep the educational institutes in the state shut till April 21, but keeping in mind the current Covid-19 situation in Himachal Pradesh, the authorities decided to extend the closure of educational institutes. The chief minister of Himachal Pradesh further said that the state Cabinet will meet on April 22 to take more decisions to contain the spread of coronavirus, apart from the shutting down of schools and colleges in the state.
