Chunky Panday on Ananya getting trolled for her outfits: If her dad doesn’t mind, no one should

Ananya Panday often gets trolled for her fashion sense. Her dad Chunky Panday said that no one should have a problem with what Ananya is wearing since he is okay with it.
Ananya Panday sure is famous for her style sense, but she often becomes a victim of brutal trolling for the same reason. Recently, Ananya made headlines for her part-sheer gown that she wore to Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta’s 50th birthday bash. But Ananya has learnt to laugh at herself, is what her dad Chunky Panday says. The Saaho actor also feels that he’s never told his daughters Ananya and Rysa what to wear.
Ananya Panday often gets trolled for her fashion sense. The recent ones were her bralette top during Gehraiyaan promotions and a black sheer gown to a B-Town bash. However, Chunky Panday says he doesn’t have a problem with Ananya’s outfits and if he is okay, others shouldn’t have a problem either. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Chunky said, “We, as parents, have never told her what to wear and what not to. We brought up both of our daughters quite well and they are very sensible. Ananya is in the show business today, and she needs to look glamorous. She should put her best foot forward and dress up.”
He further shared, “One thing I know for sure about my girls is that there’s a certain kind of innocence in them. I’m sure they can wear anything and carry them off without looking vulgar." Also adding, "Getting laughed at for what you’re wearing is very common. We should take these things as a compliment. And if her dad doesn’t mind, then I don’t think anyone else should mind.” Chunky also said that Ananya has learnt to laugh at herself.
Ananya Panday was last seen in Gehraiyaan, co-starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa. The film was a huge success. Up next, she has Liger with Vijay Deverakonda and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant and Adarsh Gourav.
