Chiranjeevi says there's no competition between him and Nagarjuna as GodFather and The Ghost cater to different audiences. Both films are set to open in theatres on October 5.

Chiranjeevi's GodFather is set to hit the screens alongside the Nagarjuna-led The Ghost on October 5. This has created a fair deal of buzz in the industry. Tollywood's Megastar has now opened up about the clash. Speaking to News 18, he said that he doesn't view The Ghost as competition as it caters to a different audience. The veteran actor added that both films are 'unique; in their own way. GodFather is a political thriller, directed by Mohan Raja.

Chiranjeevi is not worried about the clash between GodFather and The Ghost as he feels that both movies cater to different audiences. He added that both actors are merely trying to showcase their abilities through their work.

“There is no competition with Nagarjuna. Both the films are unique and we are trying to showcase our talent in it and prove ourselves," said the actor.

His comments come days after Nagarjuna had wished the GodFather team good luck. He had further added that he wanted it to do well at the box office.

GodFather is an adaptation of the Mollywood biggie Lucifer, starring Mohanlal and Manju Warrier. The Telugu film has a strong cast that includes Nayanthara, Satyadev, and Murali Mohan, among others. Bollywood star Salman Khan has an extended cameo in his maiden Tollywood movie. The Radhe actor plays a character similar to the one played by Prithviraj in Lucifer. Bhai will be seen grooving alongside Chiranjeevi to the Thaar Maar Thakkar track. S Thaman has composed GodFather's music.

The Ghost, on the other hand, is an action-thriller that stars Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan as the lead pair. It is directed by Praveen Sattaru. Both films are set to open in theatres on October 5.
