A children’s festival was organised at the Mahatma Gandhi district stadium in Raichur, in Karnataka, on February 2 as part of Raichur Zilla Utsav 2026.
Hundreds of children from various schools participated in the event, which was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Nitish K.
“Apart from entertainment, children will gain knowledge in the festival. I extend my gratitude to the institutions that are giving the children a chance to take part in the event,” he said.
Children enjoyed various games and were enthralled by magician Kudroli Ganesh.
Raichur Zilla Panchayat CEO Eshwar Kumar Kandoo, Mahanagar Palike Commissioner Jubin Mohapatra, Additional Deputy Commissioner Shivanand, Assistant Commissioner Hampanna Sajjan, and Tahsildar Suresh Varma were among those who participated in the event.
