Chhattisgarh heading Punjab way? 30 MLAs, CM Baghel in Delhi amid speculation over change of guard

At least 30 Congress MLAs, considered close to CM Bhupesh Baghel, flew to Delhi over the past few days, giving rise to speculation of leadership change in Chhattisgarh government.

At least 30 MLAs of the Congress party from Chhattisgarh are currently camping in Delhi, giving rise to speculation that Chhattisgarh could also be heading the Punjab way for the ruling Congress party in the state.

While about 20 MLAs have been in Delhi for several days now, at least 10 more have reached the national capital in the past 24 hours. Most of the MLAs continue to reiterate that they are here for “personal work”.
