Chennai Corporation to allow access to beaches from February 1 in the city

The corporation has said that people should maintain social distancing and avoid crowding in the beaches and also ensure that all the Covid SOPs be followed.

The Greater Chennai Corporation has said that from February 1 public will be given access to the beaches in the city.

Earlier due to the Covid-19 situation, it was seen that people were not allowed on beaches. But now, relaxations being brought about in the state, the public will be allowed to access beaches.

The corporation has said that people should maintain social distancing and avoid crowding in the beaches and also ensure that all the Covid SOPs be followed.

In Tamil Nadu on Jan 29, 24,418 cases of Covid were registered and Chennai had 4,508 cases registered on the same day.
