Sources have said, CJI SA Bobde has received a response from the Centre on the elevation of Saurabh Kripal as a judge of the Delhi High Court. The Centre in its response has reiterated its apprehensions regarding the elevation, stating that Kirpal’s partner, who is a foreign national, may pose a security threat.
