CBSE issued an advisory cautioning students and parents against fake news and rumours ahead of board exams. The Board assured that all arrangements are in place for smooth and secure examinations.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an advisory on February 16, warning students, parents, and schools about the circulation of fake news ahead of the upcoming Class 10 and 12 board examinations.
The exams are scheduled to commence from February 17, 2026.
The Board highlighted that in previous years, some individuals attempted to mislead students and parents by spreading misinformation on social media platforms.
This included false claims about question paper leaks and circulation of purported board papers for Classes X and XII.
CBSE emphasised that stakeholders should remain vigilant and not engage with unverified news, rumours, or fake content.
Believing or forwarding such information can create unnecessary anxiety among students and may negatively impact their preparedness during this critical stage of their academic journey.

Bihar Board Class 12 Result 2026 will be declared soon, bringing an end to the long wait for students. Once announced, students will be able to check their BSEB Inter scores not only on the official BSEB websites but also on the India Today Board Results 2026 platform, ensuring quick and convenient access to their scorecards.
