CBSE Class 10 and 12 exams will be conducted during the peak of summer. As per the IMD’s weather forecast for 2021, the summer in India is expected between April and June. Usually, May is considered the hottest month. This is also the time when the heatwave troubles those living in the north, north-west, and central-east parts of the country. The increase in temperature along with heat waves has become a concern for those required to step out of their homes.
However, those studying in Class 10 and 12 will have to be on their toes during the summer this time around. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the term two examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will begin from April 26 this year.
“Term 2 theory examinations will commence from 26th April 2022. The date sheet for Class X and XII will be released soon,” the notification issued by CBSE read.
This means that students will have to prepare and sit for the examinations at the peak of the summer season.
The timing of the examinations has triggered concerns as the students will have to step out for the examination and prepare for the papers during the period when the country experiences scorching heat.
