A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team, investigating the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat, reached the hotel on Saturday where she was staying with her two aides.

The rooms of the hotel were sealed by the Goa Police, which was investigating the case before it was handed over to the CBI on Friday.
During the course of the investigation, the team is also expected to visit Curlie’s shack where Sonali Phogat was seen partying hours before her death.

Sonali Phogat was declared dead on arrival by doctors at a Goa hospital on August 23. Initially, this was being treated as a case of accidental death due to a heart attack, but multiple 'blunt injuries' in the autopsy forced the police to lodge a murder case.
Later, the Goa Police said that Phogat was "forcibly drugged by her two associates".
