CBI arrests J&K Grameen Bank’s branch head for taking bribe for house loan

Two persons, including the branch head of J&K Grameen Bank, were caught by the CBI while taking a bribe for sanctioning the housing loan of an applicant.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday arrested the branch head of J&K Grameen Bank and one more person while they were taking a bribe for sanctioning the housing loan of an applicant, officials said.
Sanjay Kumar Sharma, the branch head of J&K Grameen Bank's Kathua office, was arrested by the CBI along with a private person named Jatinder Kumar while accepting a bribe of Rs 20,000.
