Canon on Wednesday unveiled its new dual fisheye lens which can help you capture 3D VR images and videos. The lens will be part of what Canon is calling an EOS VR System a new virtual reality (VR) video production system. Apart from the lens, the system also includes two computer software applications. Canon has not announced the launch date for the lens or applications but, aims to make them available before the end of this year. The camera maker says that the two lenses sit at a distance of 60 mm or 24 inches to match human interpupillary distance and provide comfortable parallax for VR and AR.
