Police have arrested the man who informed the killers about Trinamool leaders' whereabouts in West Bengal's Canning.
Two days after three Trinamool Congress workers were gunned down in Canning’s Dharmatola, West Bengal Police have arrested the man who informed the killers about their whereabouts.
Police said the arrested individual has been identified as Aftabuddin, who has confessed to having worked as an informer for the assailants.

Aftabuddin had shared information regarding the whereabouts of the deceased. He was arrested late on Friday night.
On Thursday, three workers of the ruling Trinamool Congress were killed at Canning in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district, when they were passing through a crowded road.

The trio were riding a motorcycle when the unidentified assailants stopped them near Peer Park and gunned them down around 9 am.
