Cancel Board Exams 2022: The Supreme Court of India is going to hear a plea for the cancellation for board examinations that are going to be conducted by various boards today, that is, Wednesday, February 23. The plea is challenging the board exams being conducted by education boards like CBSE, ICSE, NIOS and other state boards.
The advocate of the petitioner has been asked by the court to submit a copy to the CBSE and all state boards by a SC bench headed by Justice AM Khanwilkar.
Justice AM Khanwilkar's bench had also passed the ruling on the board exams 2021.
The petition reads, "In most of the states during the lockdown period of June - December,2020, no classes were provided to students. Almost 98% of colleges/schools of all the states did not conduct any online classes for students in that period."
The SC agreed to list the case for today after the petitioner's counsel requested an urgent listing of the case and said that even though the Covid-19 situation has improved, classes have not been held offline.
The petition which was filed by the child rights activist Anubha Shrivastava Sahai further seeks directions from the state boards, CBSE, ICSE, NIOS to issue a notification for an alternative mode of assessment.
The petitioner has additionally sought the constitution of a committee to decide upon an assessment formula for students, including compartment students, and to declare the result within a time limit and deadline.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
