The BSF personnel recovered 40 kg of heroin worth Rs 200 crore in two separate incidents in Punjab's Ferozepur sector.
The Border Security Force (BSF) recovered 40 kg of heroin worth Rs 200 crore in two separate incidents on Sunday in Ferozepur sector in Punjab.
In the first incident, troops were alerted when they heard a thumping sound of something hitting the ground near the border fencing area. Further search of the area led to the recovery of 34 kg heroin concealed in 22 packets near the border outpost Mian Wali Uttar.

Two years ago, former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina warned of an alleged plot by a 'white man' to establish a Christian state. In 2025, the Mizoram CM said Ukraine war veterans were using the state to enter Myanmar. The arrest of 7 foreign nationals by the NIA has prompted experts to suggest that the incidents might be connected.
