Bridgerton Season 2 to feature THIS Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan song. Can you guess?

Bridgerton Season 2 is all set to premiere on Netflix soon. It has been revealed that the show's new season will feature a cover version of a popular Bollywood song featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Bridgerton Season 2 is all set to drop on Netflix soon and fan's can't wait. Ahead of that, the makers have revealed a new exciting update from the show. The second season of the period drama will feature a cover version of a popular Bollywood song. The show is going to include an orchestra cover of the title track from Karan Johar's Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The cover has been composed by Kris Bowers. Directed by Chris Van Dusen, Bridgerton 2 will premiere on March 25 on Netflix.

Netflix unveiled the first teaser of Bridgerton Season 2 on February 15. We have now come to know that the title track of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham will be featured on the show. Released in 2001, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor. It was one of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters of its time, earning over 136 crore at the box office. The film's title track, which will be recreated in Bridgerton, was originally composed by Jatin-Lalit with the lyrics penned by Sameer. It was sung by Lata Mangeshkar.

Apart from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Bridgerton Season 2 will also feature a cover version of songs including Nirvana's Stay Away, Madonna's Material Girl, Rihanna's Diamonds, Robyn's Dancing on my own, Alanis Morissette's You Oughta know, Harry Styles' Sign of the times, Calvin Harris' How Deep is your love and Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball. Speaking about these covers, showrunner Chris Van Dusen told E! News, "I chose all of these songs for very specific reasons. Each one is incredibly powerful and deeply emotional in its own special way. I always try many different songs for any one scene before landing on the perfect one to use. This season, I couldn't be more thrilled about our musical playlist."

The first season of Bridgerton was also filled with classical covers of popular songs including Maroon 5's Girls Like You, Shawn Mendes In My Blood and Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams.

Bridgerton Season 1 followed the steamy romance between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page). The teaser shows that Dynevor has reprised his role as Daphne. However, Page has exited the show and there's no clarity yet on whether the role of the Duke of Hastings will be taken up by another actor. Similarly, Daphne's storyline also remains a mystery.
