According to early estimates, Brahmastra has collected in the range of Rs 10.35 to Rs 11.35 crore on September 14, taking the six-day total collection to around Rs 161 crore The film is expected to close its opening week at collections of Rs 170 crore, which is the highest for a Bollywood film after Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Box Office India reported that Brahmastra is faring better than Akshay Kumar's Sooryanvanshi in many places. The report read, "The film has crossed the numbers of Sooryavanshi in some circuits like East Punjab and Mysore in just six days and many other circuits will follow in the next few days. It will be only Mumbai and CP Berar where Sooryavanshi remain higher post pandemic and that is because Sooryavanshi was a BLOCKBUSTER in Maharashtra and Gujarat."

The cast includes Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo in the movie. Brahmastra opened in the theatres on September 9.

On the other hand, Junoon, the pawn of the dark forces, is also on a quest to get hold of the Brahmastra.
