The Bombay High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25 lakh on a company for a "vexatious and mischievous proceeding" that "unnecessarily wasted the court’s time".

Justice Patel said, "I can think of no reason to withhold an order of costs [fine] against the plaintiffs. The quantum of costs cannot be trivial."
