Bob Biswas actress Chitrangda on doing raunchy Aao Raja number for Gabbar Is Back

Chitrangda Singh will be seen next in Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Bob Biswas. In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actress talks about doing the Aao Raja item song in Gabbar Is Back (2015) and if she has any regrets regarding it.

Chitrangda Singh will be seen playing Abhishek Bachchan’s wife in the upcoming thriller, Bob Biswas. The actress has a versatile array of titles to her credit, such as Inkaar, Yeh Saali Zindagi and Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, among others. She also performed a popular item song titled Aao Raja in the 2015 film, Gabbar Is Back. The racy lyrics of the song have always been a topic of discussion and made Aao Raja an instant hit.

Looking back at the raunchy song, does Chitrangda regret being part of it? In an exclusive conversation with IndiaToday.in, the actress shares her thoughts on the song. She says, “I have no regrets at all. I am so glad as an actor that I got to see that side of me. Honestly, when I was talking to Sanjay Leela Bhansali (producer) and I heard the song, I was pretty apprehensive. I wasn’t sure if I could do something so raunchy, and it really had to be another level of raunchiness. I was very inhibited, so I couldn’t imagine this, even though I had done an item song in Joker, it wasn’t like this.”
