BJP slams Delhi govt for depending on private hospitals to tackle Covid-19 situation
India Today
The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday criticised the Delhi government for being dependent on private hospitals to tackle the Covid-19 situation in the city.
Hitting out at the Delhi government, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that the Covid-19 management system in the city has collapsed and now the Delhi government seems to be totally dependent on private hospitals to tackle the pandemic situation. Delhi BJP unit chief Adesh Gupta said that the 14 private hospitals which have been declared full Covid-19 facilities clearly show that the Delhi government hospitals are simply not equipped to deal with the current situation. "The treatment in these private hospitals is very costly and beyond the reach of lower or middle-class people, as a result of which thousands of patients are not even in a position now to go for treatment," he said.More Related News
