BJP spokesperson Krishna Sagar Rao hit out at Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, who has been trying to unite the opposition against the BJP.

The BJP’s win will certainly disturb Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and a few other political dreamers like him across India, party spokesperson Krishna Sagar Rao claimed as Telangana gears up for elections next year. The jibe followed the BJP’s return to power in four of the five states that went to the polls last month.

“This historic four out of five Assembly win will certainly disturb the daydreams of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and few political dreamers like him across India,” he said.

K Chandrashekar Rao, who is also the chief of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), has been trying to unite the opposition against the BJP.

A massive victory in the recently conducted assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Manipur and Uttarakhand has boosted the morale of the saffron party’s Telangana unit, which is eying the state that is considered as the political gateway to south India.

The TRS has alleged that the Narendra Modi-led BJP government has failed to provide the country with decisive leadership.

“How many jobs is the BJP-led Union government creating? Definitely, party chief and CM KC Rao, along with like-minded parties, will put forward all these in front of people nationally,” TRS’s Member of the Legislative Council Kavita said.
