Birthday celebrations in Maharashtra's Ambernath went awry as a fire erupted during the party.
In a video from the incident, a friend can be seen lighting a sparkler on the cake. The birthday boy takes another sparkler and puts it in his mouth. The boy was caught off guard as a friend hit him with an egg.
Other friends, too, started hitting him with eggs and a friend poured some white powder on his head. As the powder came in contact with the sparkler, it burst into flames.
The boy, who was facing the sparkler when it burst, was seen getting engulfed in flames.
The video has gone viral on social media.
